Plain-language policy
Privacy, without the fine-print maze.
Merge Horizon has no ads, no third-party analytics, no tracking, and no developer account system. Your game progress belongs to your journey.
Effective and last updated September 6, 2026
1. Information Merge Horizon handles
On-device game data
The app stores settings, saved runs, scores, discovered evolutions, stars, badges, progression, and achievement statistics on your device so the game can work and preserve your progress.
Optional iCloud save data
When iCloud is available, Merge Horizon can copy saved gameplay content to a private CloudKit database associated with your Apple Account. This supports syncing and restoring your journey across your devices. We do not operate a separate account database, receive your Apple Account password, or use this data for advertising or tracking.
Optional Game Center data
If you use Game Center, the app sends eligible scores and achievement progress to Apple’s Game Center service and displays Apple-provided leaderboard and achievement information. Apple manages your Game Center profile under Apple’s own privacy terms.
Support messages
If you email support, we receive the address, message, and attachments you choose to send. We use them only to respond, diagnose the issue, protect the service, and meet legal obligations.
2. How information is used
- Run the game and remember your settings and progress.
- Sync or restore progress through iCloud when available.
- Report scores and achievements through Game Center when available.
- Answer support requests and fix reported problems.
Merge Horizon does not sell personal information, share it with data brokers, build advertising profiles, or track activity across other companies’ apps or websites.
3. Storage, retention, and your controls
Restart Run clears the current board while keeping earned progress. Deleting the app removes its local copy, but deleting the app alone may not remove data already stored in iCloud or records managed by Game Center.
You can manage Merge Horizon’s iCloud data through your Apple Account’s iCloud storage settings. Game Center scores, achievements, profile information, and retention are controlled through Apple’s Game Center service. Support correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the request, safety, and legal recordkeeping.
Cloud sync is intentionally conservative: signing out, switching accounts, or a temporary server problem is not treated as permission to erase the progress already on your device.
4. Children’s privacy
Merge Horizon does not knowingly collect personal information from children for advertising or profiling and does not contain ads or social chat. If a child contacts support, a parent or guardian may ask us to delete that correspondence.
5. Security and changes
We use Apple platform protections and minimize the information handled by the app. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. If this policy changes, the updated version and effective date will appear on this page.
